No company shall cancel or amend the contract of an independent insurance producer for property or casualty insurance, solely because of adverse underwriting experience for the two years preceding the date of such cancellation or amendment on such lines of insurance for which the company requires submission of an application for approval or for which the company accepts without approval policies issued by its appointed producers, if the information on any such application or on the company copy of any policy issued by an appointed producer is substantially complete and not intentionally or substantially incorrect or misleading.
