No individual health insurance policy delivered, issued for delivery or renewed in this state on or after October 1, 1988, may exclude coverage for services provided by the Healthcare Center in Rocky Hill maintained by the Department of Veterans Affairs. See Sec. 38a-529 for similar provisions re group policies.

History: P.A. 90-243 substituted reference to health insurance policies for reference to hospital and medical expense policies and contracts and made technical grammatical change; Sec. 38-174ff transferred to Sec. 38a-502 in 1991; P.A. 04-169 changed the name of the Veterans' Home and Hospital to the Veterans' Home, effective June 1, 2004; P.A. 16-167 replaced “Veterans' Home” with “Healthcare Center in Rocky Hill maintained by the Department of Veterans Affairs”, effective July 1, 2016.
