Text
Notwithstanding the provisions of section 38a-476, the Insurance Commissioner may adopt regulations, in accordance with the provisions of chapter 54, to allow exclusionary riders to be issued for individual health insurance policies that are not subject to Section 2701 of the Public Health Service Act, as set forth in the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996, P.L. 104-191, as amended from time to time.
