Text
A “burial contract” or “burial certificate”, within the meaning of this section, is any instrument in writing whereby any person, firm, corporation or association, in consideration of the payment of a specified sum of money or for any other valuable consideration, promises or agrees to embalm or inter or otherwise dispose of, or to procure the embalmment or interment or other disposal of, the remains of any person who is living at the time of the execution of such instrument. No person, firm, corporation or association shall transact the business of issuing burial contracts or burial certificates until such person, firm, corporation or association has procured from the commissioner a license to conduct such business under such regulations as the commissioner may prescribe in accordance wit
