(a)Each person within this state holding a policy of insurance issued by a life insurance company doing business in this state shall be furnished by the company with a copy of the application upon which the policy was issued, upon demand made for such copy by the policyholder, or by any person upon whose life the policy was issued.
(b)If the company fails for thirty days from the time of the demand to furnish to the person making the demand a copy of the application, the company shall be forever barred from setting up, by way of defense to any suit on the policy of insurance, any error, incorrectness, fraud or misrepresentation of that person, or any mistake therein; and the application shall thereafter be taken and held, so far as the application may affect any claim under the policy, o
