(a)Each mortgage servicer applicant or licensee and any person exempt from mortgage servicer licensure pursuant to subdivision (4) of subsection (b) of section 36a-718 shall file with the commissioner (1) a surety bond, written by a surety authorized to write such bonds in this state, covering its main office and any branch office from which it acts as mortgage servicer, in a penal sum of one hundred thousand dollars per office location in accordance with subsection (b) of this section, (2) a fidelity bond, written by a surety authorized to write such bonds in this state, in accordance with the requirements of subsection (c) of this section, and (3) evidence of errors and omissions coverage, written by a surety authorized to write such coverage in this state, in accordance with the requir

(A), designating existing provisions re requiring licensee to take or refrain from taking action as Subpara. (B) and amending same to replace “action as in the opinion of the commissioner will effectuate the purposes of this section” with “action as the commissioner deems necessary to effectuate the purposes of this section”, and replacing reference to Sec. 36a-498f with reference to Sec. 36a-498e, and made technical and conforming changes.
