In addition to other financial assistance which the Department of Economic and Community Development may grant under this chapter, the Commissioner of Economic and Community Development, in consultation with the Secretary of the Office of Policy and Management and the Commissioner of Energy and Environmental Protection, may provide financial assistance consisting of (1) funds to acquire air pollution emission reduction credits certified by the Commissioner of Energy and Environmental Protection pursuant to section 22a-174f, or (2) the transfer of credits previously acquired by the Office of Policy and Management pursuant to section 32-242a.
