§ 3-39n — Exemption from certain securities laws.
Participation in the trust and the offering, sale and solicitation of opportunities to participate in the trust are exempt from sections 36b-16 and 36b-22, provided the State Treasurer has obtained written advice of counsel or written advice from the Securities Exchange Commission, or both, that the trust and the offering, sale and solicitation of opportunities to participate in the trust are not subject to federal securities laws.
