Text
The Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection shall, within available resources, administer a grant program to provide grants-in-aid to eligible municipalities for speed enforcement activities on rural roads. Any municipality that has a population of less than twenty-five thousand may apply for such grants in such manner as the department prescribes. The department shall award grants of up to five thousand dollars to eligible municipalities, and may award not more than a total of ten grants to any such municipality. The department shall continue to award grants until all resources dedicated to such grant program have been expended.
