Text
Any laboratory or veterinarian that conducts testing of livestock or poultry in this state shall notify the State Veterinarian, on forms or in a manner prescribed by the Commissioner of Agriculture, of any positive test results for any notifiable or reportable disease pursuant to section 22-26f. Such notification shall be made not later than twenty-four hours after receipt of any such results. Any person who violates this section for a first violation shall be subject to an administrative civil penalty, issued pursuant to section 22-7, of not more than five hundred dollars, and for any such second or subsequent violation, not more than one thousand dollars.
