Text

(a)No person shall import, or cause to be imported, into this state any livestock that is under any state or federal quarantine due to the presence of, or the suspected presence of, an infectious or contagious disease.
(b)No person shall import, or cause to be imported, into this state any livestock that is infected with, or has been exposed to, any infectious or contagious disease including, but not limited to, tuberculosis, brucellosis, anaplasmosis, psoroptic scabies, chronic wasting disease, bovine spongiform encephalopathy, hog cholera, pseudorabies, rabies or scrapie.
(c)No person shall import, or cause to be imported, into this state any livestock unless an import permit issued pursuant to section 22-308 is obtained and each animal is accompanied by a certificate of veterinary in
