Text
The Department of Agriculture shall be the lead agency for aquaculture development in this state. The department shall:
(1)Coordinate the activities of other state agencies with regard to aquaculture;
(2)act as a liaison between local and federal officials on matters related to aquaculture;
(3)serve as a liaison between government and the aquaculture industry.
