On and after July 1, 2025, each homemaker-companion agency shall require each agency employee to wear an identification badge that includes the employee's name and photograph during each appointment with a client. In any case in which the Commissioner of Consumer Protection determines that a homemaker-companion agency has failed to comply with the requirements established under this section, the commissioner may initiate disciplinary action against the agency pursuant to section 20-675.
