§ 20-638c — Pharmacy professional assistance program account.

There is established an account to be known as the “pharmacy professional assistance program account” which shall be a separate, nonlapsing account within the General Fund. The account shall contain any moneys required by law to be deposited in the account. Moneys in the account shall be paid by the Commissioner of Consumer Protection to the assistance program for the provision of education, prevention, intervention, referral assistance, rehabilitation and support services to pharmacists and pharmacy interns who have a chemical dependency, an emotional or behavioral disorder or a physical or mental illness. See Secs. 19a-12a to 19a-12e, inclusive, for similar provisions re health care professionals.
