The commissioner may adopt regulations in accordance with the provisions of chapter 54 to provide for the periodic retraining of asbestos abatement site supervisors, asbestos abatement workers and asbestos consultants, and for the specification of closely related environmental science degrees. See Sec. 19a-332 for applicable definitions. See Sec. 52-577a for statute of limitations on claims based on exposure to asbestos.
