§ 20-420a — Procedures for registration. Records.
Connecticut·Title 20 Professional and Occupational Licensing, Certification, Title Protection and Registration. Examining Boards·Ch. 400 Home Improvement Contractors
(a)No business entity shall perform or offer to perform home improvements in this state unless such business entity has been issued a certificate of registration by the commissioner. No such business entity shall be relieved of responsibility for the conduct and acts of its agents, employees or officers by reason of its compliance with the provisions of this section, nor shall any individual contractor be relieved of responsibility for home improvements performed by reason of such individual contractor's employment or relationship with such business entity.
(b)A business entity desiring a certificate of registration shall apply to the commissioner, online, on a form provided by the commissioner. The application shall (1) state the name and address of such business entity, the city or tow
