§ 20-334g — Certificate for solar thermal work.
Connecticut·Title 20 Professional and Occupational Licensing, Certification, Title Protection and Registration. Examining Boards·Ch. 393 Electricians, Plumbers, Solar, Heating, Piping and Cooling Contractors and Journeymen, Elevator and Fire Protection Sprinkler Craftsmen, Irrigation Contractors and Journeymen, Gas Hearth Installer Contractors and Journeymen and Residential Stair Lift Technicians
The Commissioner of Consumer Protection, after consultation with either the Heating, Piping, Cooling and Sheet Metal Work Board or the Plumbing and Piping Work Board, as appropriate, shall issue a solar thermal work certificate authorizing the performance of solar thermal work, as defined in section 20-330, to any person who:
(1)Has been issued a P-1, P-2, P-3, P-4, S-1, S-2, S-3 or S-4, license issued by the Department of Consumer Protection, (2) has completed a solar thermal installation training course approved by the commissioner, and (3) has achieved a passing score on a solar thermal work examination approved by the commissioner.
