(a)Any person who, on October 1, 1969, holds a certificate of authority or renewal issued pursuant to sections 20-295 and 20-295a of the general statutes, revised to 1968, shall be entered on the roster of licensed architects and shall thereafter be authorized and entitled to practice architecture in accordance with the provisions of this chapter.
(b)An architect licensed in this state may perform the work of an interior designer as prescribed in chapter 396a without obtaining a certificate of registration as an interior designer under said chapter. Except as provided in subsection (c) of this section, an architect licensed in this state shall not be required to satisfy the continuing education requirements for registered interior designers established in subsections (f) and (g) of secti
