§ 20-278h — Licensure. Fee. Qualifications. Renewal. Disciplinary action. Penalty.

Connecticut·Title 20 Professional and Occupational Licensing, Certification, Title Protection and Registration. Examining Boards·Ch. 388a Bulk Water Haulers
(a)On and after October 1, 2014, no person shall act as a bulk water hauler unless such person has obtained a license issued by the Department of Public Health in accordance with this section. For purposes of this section:
(1)“Bulk water hauling” means transporting water to a water company or a consumer of a water company, in bulk by any means, where such water is to be used for public drinking water supply purposes;
(2)“bulk” means two hundred fifty gallons of water or more;
(3)“consumer” has the same meaning as in section 25-32a;
(4)“water company” has the same meaning as in section 25-32a; and (5) “commissioner” means the Commissioner of Public Health or the commissioner's designee.
(b)Each person seeking licensure as a bulk water hauler shall make application on a form prescribed
