Text
The department shall hold examinations at least twice each year at such times and places as the Commissioner of Public Health determines. The Commissioner of Public Health, with advice and assistance from the board, shall adopt regulations, in accordance with chapter 54, for the administration of this chapter and for the conduct of the business of electrology, which regulations may prescribe requirements concerning the layout, use and equipment of licensees' places of business, all in accordance with the public interest, health and safety. The board, with the consent of the Commissioner of Public Health, shall prescribe the course of training for the practice of electrology and shall adopt a schedule and minimum educational requirements.
