§ 20-206kk — Practice restricted to licensed persons. Exceptions. Title protection.
Connecticut·Title 20 Professional and Occupational Licensing, Certification, Title Protection and Registration. Examining Boards·Ch. 384d Emergency Medical Services Personnel
(a)Except as provided in subsection (c) of this section, no person shall practice paramedicine unless licensed as a paramedic pursuant to section 20-206ll or 20-206mm.
(b)No person shall use the title “paramedic”, “emergency medical responder”, “emergency medical technician”, “advanced emergency medical technician” or “emergency medical services instructor” or make use of any title, words, letters or abbreviations that may reasonably be confused with licensure as a paramedic or certification as an emergency medical responder, emergency medical technician, advanced emergency medical technician, or emergency medical services instructor unless licensed or certified pursuant to section 20-206 ll or 20-206mm .
