Text
(a)Any veterinarian licensed in accordance with the provisions of this chapter, who in the course of his or her employment, has reasonable cause to suspect that an animal is being or has been harmed, neglected or treated cruelly due to participation in an exhibition of animal fighting for amusement or gain, shall report the following information to the local law enforcement agency or animal control officer:
(1)The address of the owner or other person responsible for care of the animal;
(2)a description of the animal; and (3) the approximate date and time of discovery of such harm, neglect or cruelty.
(b)Any veterinarian who, in good faith, makes a report pursuant to this section, shall be immune from any civil liability which might otherwise arise from or be related to the actions take
