Text
The Commissioner of Public Health shall require each person applying for licensure as a physician under section 20-13, who indicates an intention to apply for a license in one or more other states not later than one year after the date of such person's application for licensure, to submit to a state and national fingerprint-based criminal history records check by the Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection. The Commissioner of Emergency Services and Public Protection shall report the results of each such criminal history records check to the Commissioner of Public Health pursuant to the provisions of section 29-17a.
