§ 2-6 — Convening of sessions by action of members.
After the adjournment sine die of a regular or a special session of the General Assembly, if the members judge it necessary to meet again, as provided in article third of the amendments to the Constitution of Connecticut, they may so notify the Secretary of the State in writing. No such notice shall be valid as to any member for more than thirty days after its execution by such member. Said secretary, upon receiving valid notices from a majority of the members of each house, shall forthwith notify all members of said assembly to meet in their respective chambers in the Capitol at ten o'clock in the forenoon on a date not less than ten nor more than fifteen days thereafter.
