The Department of Correction shall, within the available appropriations of the Department of Correction, establish a fifteen-bed segregated, community-based alcohol and drug treatment facility targeted solely for female offenders.

(P.A. 89-390, S. 33, 37; P.A. 93-381, S. 23, 39.) History: P.A. 93-381 deleted reference to Connecticut alcohol and drug abuse commission, and added the words “of correction” in the phrase “within the available appropriations of the department of correction” effective July 1, 1993; Sec. 17a-645 transferred to Sec. 18-81g in 1995.
