(a)The Commissioner of Aging and Disability Services may request and shall receive from any department, division, board, bureau, commission or agency of the state or of any political subdivision thereof such assistance and data as will enable the Department of Aging and Disability Services to properly carry out its activities under sections 17a-835, 17a-838 and 17a-839 and to effectuate the purposes therein set forth.
(b)The Commissioner of Education shall assign one vocational rehabilitation consultant to act as a liaison staff member of the Advisory Board for Persons Who are Deaf, Deafblind or Hard of Hearing. See Sec. 46a-34 re definitions of “deaf”, “hard of hearing” and “deafblind”.
