§ 17a-674a — 9-8-8 Suicide Prevention and Mental Health Crisis Lifeline Fund. Report.

(a)There is established an account to be known as the “9-8-8 Suicide Prevention and Mental Health Crisis Lifeline Fund” which shall be a separate, nonlapsing account within the General Fund. The account shall contain any moneys required to be deposited in, or transferred to, the account pursuant to subsection (b) of this section. Moneys in the account shall be expended by the Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services solely for the following purposes:
(1)Ensuring the efficient and effective routing of calls made to the 9-8-8 National Suicide Prevention Lifeline by persons in the state to an appropriate crisis center; and (2) personnel and the provision of acute mental health, crisis outreach and stabilization services by directly responding to the 9–8–8 National Suicide Preventi
