Text

In accordance with the provisions of sections 4-5 to 4-8, inclusive, the Governor shall, after consultation with the Council on Children and Families, appoint a Commissioner of Children and Families who shall be the administrative head of the department. The commissioner shall devote his or her full time to the duties of his or her office.
