Text
There shall be an interagency collaboration, to be known as “Project Safe”, between the Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services and the Department of Children and Families, for the evaluation of and service delivery to families identified by the Department of Children and Families as requiring substance abuse and other behavioral health services. Such collaboration shall include, but not be limited to, evaluations, service needs, service delivery, housing, medical coverage, vocation and employment support and other related recovery support services. The Commissioner of Mental Health and Addiction Services and the Commissioner of Children and Families shall enter into a written memorandum of understanding to carry out the interagency collaboration required under this section.
