As used in this section and sections 17a-232 to 17a-237, inclusive, unless the context otherwise requires:

(1)“Residential facility for persons with intellectual disability” means a residential facility for persons with intellectual disability that is licensed, or required to be licensed, pursuant to section 17a-227 , including staffing and other program resources associated with such facility;

(2)“Emergency” means a situation, physical condition or one or more practices, methods or operations which present imminent danger of death or serious physical or mental harm to residents of a residential facility for persons with intellectual disability;

(3)“Transfer trauma” means the medical and psychological reactions to physical transfer that increase the risk of death, or grave illness, or b

As used in this section and sections 17a-232 to 17a-237, inclusive, unless the context otherwise requires: (1) “Residential facility for persons with intellectual disability” means a residential facility for persons with intellectual disability that is licensed, or required to be licensed, pursuant to section 17a-227 , including staffing and other program resources associated with such facility; (2) “Emergency” means a situation, physical condition or one or more practices, methods or operations which present imminent danger of death or serious physical or mental harm to residents of a residential facility for persons with intellectual disability; (3) “Transfer trauma” means the medical and psychological reactions to physical transfer that increase the risk of death, or grave illness, or both, in persons with intellectual disability; (4) “Substantial violation” means a violation of regulations adopted pursuant to section 17a-227 which presents a reasonable likelihood of serious physical or mental harm to residents of a residential facility for persons with intellectual disability; and (5) “Habitual violation” means a violation of regulations adopted pursuant to section 17a-227 which, due to its repetition, presents a reasonable likelihood of serious physical or mental harm to residents of a residential facility for persons with intellectual disability.
