(a)As part of the energy efficiency and outreach marketing campaign established pursuant to section 16a-47a, on or before April 1, 2008, the Public Utilities Regulatory Authority shall, in consultation with the Energy Conservation Management Board, established pursuant to section 16-245m, develop a real-time energy report for daily use by television and other media. The report shall (1) identify the state's current real-time energy demand, along with how the demand has changed over the course of the day, and in the case of television news broadcasts, the real-time changes in energy demand;
(2)emphasize the importance of reducing peak demand and provide estimates of the economic benefits that can be derived by reducing electricity use;
