Text
(a)A buyer in ordinary course of business shall have the protections afforded by subdivision (2) of section 42a-2-403 and subsection (a) of section 42a-9-320 even if an existing certificate of title was not signed and delivered to the buyer or a new certificate of title listing the buyer as owner of record was not created.
(b)Except as otherwise provided in sections 15-216 and 15-223 , the rights of a purchaser of a vessel who is not a buyer in ordinary course of business or a lien creditor shall be governed by the provisions of title 42a.
