§ 15-222 — Rights of a purchaser of a vessel.
Connecticut·Title 15 Navigation and Aeronautics·Ch. 269 Uniform Certificate of Title for Vessels Act
(a)A buyer in ordinary course of business shall have the protections afforded by subdivision (2) of section 42a-2-403 and subsection (a) of section 42a-9-320 even if an existing certificate of title was not signed and delivered to the buyer or a new certificate of title listing the buyer as owner of record was not created.
(b)Except as otherwise provided in sections 15-216 and 15-223 , the rights of a purchaser of a vessel who is not a buyer in ordinary course of business or a lien creditor shall be governed by the provisions of title 42a.
