§ 14-44i — Fees for commercial driver's license and tests and commercial learner's permit. Waiver.

(a) There shall be charged a fee of seventy dollars for each renewal of a commercial driver's license. (b) There shall be charged for each commercial driver's license knowledge test a fee of sixteen dollars. There shall be charged for each commercial driver's license skills test a fee of thirty dollars. There shall be charged for each commercial learner's permit a fee of twenty dollars. (c) There shall be charged, in addition to the fee provided in subsection (b) of this section for the commercial driver's license knowledge test, a fee of five dollars for each test for an endorsement to a commercial driver's license. There shall be charged, in addition to the fee provided in subsection (b) for such knowledge test, a fee of five dollars for each test for the removal of a restriction to a commercial driver's license relating to air brakes. There shall be charged, in addition to the fee provided in subsection (b) for such knowledge test, a fee of five dollars for each combination vehicle knowledge test. (d) The Commissioner of Motor Vehicles shall waive the fees established by subsection (b) of this section in the case of any person who applies for a commercial driver's license with an “S” endorsement.
