Text

(a)The Commissioner of Motor Vehicles and the Commissioner of Administrative Services shall enter into an agreement with one or more federally designated organ and tissue procurement organizations to provide to such organizations access to the names, dates of birth and other pertinent information of holders of operator's licenses, instruction or learner's permits and identity cards issued pursuant to section 1-1h who have registered with the Department of Motor Vehicles an intent to become organ and tissue donors. Such access shall be provided in a manner and form to be determined by the commissioners, following consultation with such organizations, and may include electronic transmission of initial information and periodic updating of information.
