§ 14-281d — Duties of operators of student transportation vehicles re receipt or discharge of school children.

Connecticut·Title 14 Motor Vehicles. Use of the Highway By Vehicles. Gasoline·Ch. 248 Vehicle Highway Use
No operator of a student transportation vehicle, as defined in section 14-212, while engaged in the transportation of school children to and from school or school activities may receive or discharge any child in a location where such child may cross any highway to board the vehicle or to reach his residence or other destination, except as approved by the Commissioner of Education.

(P.A. 89-320, S. 10, 12; P.A. 90-112, S. 9, 14.) History: P.A. 90-112 substituted “student transportation vehicle” for “motor vehicle, other than a registered school bus, owned by or under contract to a town, regional school district, public, private or religious school”.
