§ 14-253c — Accessible Parking Advisory Council.

Connecticut·Title 14 Motor Vehicles. Use of the Highway By Vehicles. Gasoline·Ch. 248 Vehicle Highway Use
(a)There is established an Accessible Parking Advisory Council, which shall be within the Department of Motor Vehicles for administrative purposes only. The advisory board shall:
(1)Develop a strategy to detect, deter and prevent fraud and misuse from occurring with regard to the issuance and use of removable windshield placards for persons who are blind and persons with disabilities from occurring without adversely impacting persons who are blind and persons with disabilities, (2) review the laws in other states concerning the issuance and use of such removable windshield placards, (3) recommend best practices for policies and regulations regarding the application for, and issuance and use of, removable windshield placards and the enforcement of subsection (l) of section 14-253a, (4) id
