§ 14-111o — Form and use in evidence of records received from other member jurisdictions. Electronic transmission.

(a)Any notice or copy of a record furnished to the Commissioner of Motor Vehicles by any member jurisdiction in accordance with the provisions and obligations of the driver license agreement and sections 14-111h to 14-111q, inclusive, concerning any conviction, administrative action, withdrawal and the status of an operator's license or motor vehicle registration may be transmitted and received by electronic or documentary means. Any such notice or record shall, when certified, be admissible in any hearing conducted by the commissioner and in any appeal taken from a final decision of the commissioner, in accordance with the provisions of section 4-183. As used in this section, the term “record” includes, but is not limited to, any paper, document, facsimile information, micro-photographically stored information or digitized image maintained, deposited or filed with a member jurisdiction.
