(a)As used in this section:
(1)“Commissioner” means the Commissioner of Economic and Community Development;
(2)“Employer” means a person engaged in business who has employees and who is subject to tax under this chapter or chapter 207 or 229;
(3)“Income year” means the income year or taxable year, as determined under this chapter or chapter 207 or 229, as the case may be;
(4)“New qualifying employee” means a person who (A) is receiving vocational rehabilitation services from the Department of Aging and Disability Services, and (B) is hired by the employer to fill a new job after May 6, 2010, during the employer's income years commencing on or after January 1, 2010, and prior to January 1, 2012.
