Text
Any property tax due in any municipality of this state in an amount not in excess of one hundred dollars shall be due and payable in a single payment when so determined by the appropriating body of such municipality.

(1949 Rev., S. 1826; 1959, P.A. 157, S. 1; P.A. 81-9, S. 1, 2.) History: 1959 act raised amount to be paid in single payment from $20 to $50; P.A. 81-9 provided that tax of $100 or less be paid in single payment when approved by the municipality, where single payment previously required for tax of $50 or less, effective March 31, 1981, and applicable in any municipality to assessment year commencing October 1, 1980, and each assessment year thereafter.
