(a)(1) For the fiscal year ending June 30, 2023, and each fiscal year thereafter, each technical education and career school shall prepare a proposed school budget for the next succeeding school year beginning July first and submit such proposed school budget to the superintendent of the Technical Education and Career System. Such proposed school budget shall include a statement of the staffing needs for such technical education and career school. The superintendent shall collect, review and use the proposed school budget for each technical education and career school to guide the preparation of a proposed school budget for the Technical Education and Career System.
