(a)The Technical Education and Career System shall be advised by a Technical Education and Career System board. The board shall consist of eleven members as follows:
(1)Two members appointed by the Governor who shall have experience in manufacturing or a trade offered by the Technical Education and Career System, or who are alumni of the system, (2) two members appointed by the Governor who are executives of Connecticut-based employers and who have been nominated by the Governor's Workforce Council, established pursuant to section 31-3h, (3) the Commissioner of Education, or the commissioner's designee, (4) the Commissioner of Economic and Community Development, or the commissioner's designee, (5) the Labor Commissioner, or the commissioner's designee, (6) the Chief Workforce Officer, or

(d) by replacing “in grade ten or eleven on the mastery examination, under section 10-14n” with “on standardized academic assessments”, effective July 1, 2022.
