§ 10-66oo — Governing council. Training re responsibilities and best practices. Adoption of policies re antinepotism and conflict of interests.

Connecticut·Title 10 Education and Culture·Ch. 164 Educational Opportunities
(a)On and after October 1, 2015, each member of a governing council of a state or local charter school shall complete training related to charter school governing council responsibilities and best practices at least once during the term of the charter.
(b)On and after October 1, 2015, each governing council of state and local charter schools shall adopt antinepotism and conflict of interest policies consistent with state law and best practices in nonprofit corporate governance.
