(a)Effective July 1, 2025, prior to submitting any application for a school building project pursuant to subsection (a) of section 10-283, any local or regional board of education shall provide for a solar feasibility assessment for the school building that is the subject of such application, unless such school building already utilizes solar energy. The purpose of such solar feasibility assessment shall be to provide information to such local or regional board of education concerning the feasibility of installing solar photovoltaic systems on the premises of such school building. Such information shall include:
(1)The annual load at the electric meters for such school building during the most recent calendar year, if applicable;
