(a)Within forty-five days of receipt of a New England Association of Schools and Colleges accreditation report for any public school, the local or regional board of education which has jurisdiction over such school shall publicly disclose the results of the report at a public meeting of the board of education and shall make the report available for inspection upon request.
(b)If the New England Association of Schools and Colleges places a school on probation or otherwise notifies the local or regional board of education or the superintendent of schools that a school in the district is at risk of losing its accreditation, the local or regional board of education shall notify the Department of Education of such placement or problems relating to accreditation and the department shall notify
