Text

For the school year commencing July 1, 2025, and each school year thereafter, each local and regional board of education shall adopt a restorative practices response policy to be implemented by school employees for incidents of challenging behavior or student conflict that is nonviolent and does not constitute a crime. Such policy shall not include the involvement of a school resource officer or other law enforcement official, unless such challenging behavior or conflict escalates to violence or constitutes a crime.
