Not later than July 1, 2023, the Department of Education, in collaboration with the governing authority for intramural and interscholastic athletics, shall develop a mental health plan for student athletes to raise awareness of mental health resources available to student athletes. Such plan shall be made available to local and regional boards of education and implemented in accordance with the provisions of section 10-212m.
