§ 40-42-107 — Labor standards - apprenticeship - supervision

(1)The authority shall ensure that, in any construction, expansion, renovation, rebuilding, reconditioning, or maintenance of facilities undertaken in Colorado pursuant to this article 42, all labor is performed either by the employees of an electric utility, by qualified contractors, or by both, and that, except as otherwise provided in subsection (3) of this section, an electric utility does not use a contractor unless:
(a)The contractor is chosen from a list of qualified contractors prepared and updated, at least annually, by the department of labor and employment; and
(b)The contractor's employees have access to an apprenticeship program registered with the United States department of labor's office of apprenticeship or by a state apprenticeship agency recognized by that o
