Text
In any proceeding brought under this part 1, the
petitioner, at the time of filing the petition or at any time thereafter during the
pendency of such proceeding, may file with the county clerk and recorder of the
county in which the property sought to be condemned is situated a notice of the
pendency of the proceeding, containing a general description of the property
affected. The filing of such notice shall be constructive notice of the proceeding to
any purchaser or encumbrancer of said property. The petitioner shall take all
property condemned under this part 1 free of all conveyances, taxes, or
assessments that have attached thereto subsequent to the filing of the lis pendens.
