Text
All instruments executed for the
purpose of releasing any lien or encumbrance against real property shall be
considered only as discharging and canceling such lien or encumbrance. No such
release shall convey to any person, except the record owner of the property, any
right, title, or interest in the property. Words of conveyance used in any such
release shall be construed only as provided in this section.
