Text
A person or entity against
whom the injured person asserts a civil action or claim that includes a request for
damages related to health-care services or treatment provided under a health-care
provider lien does not have standing to challenge a health-care provider's or its
assignee's compliance with this article 27.5, whether in the civil action or claim
asserted by the injured person or in a separate civil action.
